FY 26-27 Street paving is scheduled to be done for the following streets in September. More information on date and times will follow so residents can prepare for any possible delays in the areas.
Kingsbury Drive - From Hillsboro Road to Old Hickory Blvd
Lynnwood Blvd - From Tyne Blvd to Foxwood Drive
Kingsbury Drive will be redesigned to accomplish several goals of the city.
Create a natural traffic calming along the corridor by narrowing the traffic lanes to 9'.
Incorporate 2-3' buffer outside of each travel lane along the corridor.
Speed humps will be reinstalled according to the profile provided in the same five locations.
We will also incorporate mumble strips intermittently along the fog lines to warned drivers when they are out of the lane of travel.
The current delineators installed on the center lines will not be reinstalled due to the lane narrowing.
