Metro Water Services has announced a road closure beginning on July 13th for a section of Chickering Road from Page Road to Old Hickory Blvd. A description of the project is listed below along with an ingress/egress route.

Stormwater Infrastructure Improvement Project - Chickering Road
This utility project will require a full closure of Chickering Road between Page Rd and Old Hickory Blvd for approximately one month beginning July 13. The project involves stormwater system improvements along the roadway. The pipe excavation itself will be approximately 14 feet wide, with the total excavation area exceeding 20 feet in width. In addition, the existing pipe has caused severe erosion beneath the roadway, which is why a full street closure is necessary for the work to be completed safely.
