At Thursday night's Board of Commissioners meeting, Mark Banks was recognized for his dedicated service as a Board of Zoning Appeals Member for the last 15 years. The city passed a resolution in honor of Mark's service and presented him with a plaque for his distinguished service.
Mark has recently relocated outside the city limits which made him ineligible to continue serving as a member of the Board of Zoning Appeals.
Mayor Hyde has appointed James Lennon as his successor. James has previously been serving as an Alternate BZA Member for several years and has proven to be a great asset to the board.
Mayor Hyde has also appointed Martin Roberts as the new alternate BZA Member. Martin is also currently serving as a member of the City's Planning Commission.
