What to Expect
- Bitterly cold temperatures will arrive tonight with temperatures falling below freezing
- Temperatures are expected to remain below freezing for up to 4 days – from tonight through late Thursday morning.
- These bitterly cold temperature could burst pipes and water mains, and be very dangerous to people and animals outdoors
- A brief bout of light snow is possible tonight near the KY border
- The main round of snow is expected to begin Sunday evening into Sunday night and continue through Tuesday morning
- Heaviest snowfall is anticipated during the day Monday
- Current forecast is for 3 to 5” of snow throughout Middle Tennessee, but these amounts could change and be higher/ lower
- Snow and cold will create very difficult and hazardous travel conditions early next week.
