Just an update on the upcoming Tyne Blvd construction.
The original schedule was to close the section of road off from Robert E Lee Dr to Beauregard Drive today, but the rain has delayed it till tomorrow. The necessary construction is for settling damage in the roadway that has become a hazard. The road will be closed starting tomorrow, Dec 5th until completion of the project which they are estimating about two weeks as long as the weather cooperates. I have attached the project map below for detour and project reference.
Please plan accordingly and add a little extra time if this interferes with your normal travel. We will work diligently to complete the project as soon as possible.
