Just to give everyone a quick alert on our first night of below freezing temperatures. The next three early mornings are forecasted to drop between 25-30 degrees. There may be some places in the city that experience even colder temperatures due to the elevated areas. With the cold season approaching, this is a good time to start thinking about preparations for the winter weather.
With this said, please try to do some prechecks when you get a chance to better prepared.
- Close you crawl space vents to protect your pipes.
- Cover your outside faucets.
- Cover plants that are at risk.
- Check your back up generators and get them serviced.
- Service your fireplaces to make sure everything is operational.
- Have you HVAC units serviced to make sure everything is in working condition to transition to heat.
